Opencutlist is an useful sketchup plugin that is newly added to extension warehouse group. it can be used to automatically create the cut lists and cutting diagrams for any woodworking projects. the plugin is compatible with sketchup 2014, sketchup 2015, sketchup 2016, sketchup 2017, sketchup 2018.. I often get asked how i make my layout or cutting diagrams in sketchup. the simple answer is that i just manually make my own. there is a cutlist plugin for sketchup but i find it to be incredibly. The requirement for no nested components is a bit of a killer, and goes against good modelling practice. for example in a chest of drawers i would expect to model a drawer as a component, consisting of side, back, front and bottom sub-components..
